Just 45 minutes from Brisbane, delve into a 90-minute adventure, spotting kangaroos, birds, and maybe even koalas and platypuses along our creek banks. Settle into a peaceful ride aboard our gentle 'camel caravan,' used by early outback pioneers. Upon your return, enjoy a delicious breakfast at our Homestead Café before joining our engaging behind-the-scenes Farm Tour & Taste experience.

Sunrise Camel Ride

• Assist in saddling and preparing the camels for the trek.
• Hop on for a relaxing ride in a traditional Camel Caravan.
• Before the ride begins, you'll receive a safety briefing and have a helmet fitted for your comfort. 
• We're here to make your experience rich and educational and you can learn about Camel saddles and discover how they differ from other types. 
• Gain insights into camel behaviour and understand how we can communicate with these majestic creatures through body language. 
• After your ride, don't forget to snap a photo with our friendly riding Camels and Cameleers to capture the moment. 
• Our Homestead Café offers meal options for you to enjoy after 9 am (not included).

After your Sunrise Camel Ride, head over to our Homestead Café for a delicious breakfast: 8:30 am to 9:30 am

The breakfast is a choice of 

• Bacon and Eggs (fried or scrambled)
• Smashed 'Avo’ and Feta on Sourdough 
• Waffles with Fresh Berries, Camel Milk Gelato and Maple Syrup. 

Farm Tour & Taste

Embark on an extraordinary journey with Summer Land Camels as our friendly staff invite you on an immersive behind-the-scenes tour through Australia's largest Camel Farm and Dairy —a true paddock-to-plate experience: 9:30 am to 10:30 am

• Your tour starts by diving into the fascinating history of Camels in Australia, exploring their significant role in shaping the country. 
• Witness the special bond between our dedicated Cameleers and these gentle giants.
• As we make our way to the Camel Dairy, you'll meet our dairy mums and their adorable babies, enjoying some relaxing time in the paddock. 
• Inside the dairy, get a firsthand look at our milking machines and production setup, while we share insights into the 'why' and 'how' behind milking Camels, along with the incredible health benefits of Camel Milk. 
• The tour continues at our Camel Milk processing facilities. Here, you'll learn all about our award-winning products, which are processed right here on the farm.
• After all that exploring, get ready to treat your taste buds to the delightful flavours of Camel Milk. Sample our delicious produce, including the multi-award-winning Camel Milk Feta—a true culinary delight. 
• And guess what? All our produce is suitable for most people with dairy sensitivities.

After the ride, breakfast and tour, the fun doesn't stop. Feed our friendly camels and browse our Skincare & Souvenir Shop to redeem your storewide 10% discount (Café menu and beverage items excluded). All our products are available for purchase directly from the farm, so be sure to bring along an esky or cooler bag to take home a piece of Summer Land Camels' magic. 

Before you go: 

• Minimum 2 participants per booking
• Online bookings are essential.
• All participants are required to wear secure, closed-in footwear. 
• The activity starts at 6:30 am in the car park, where our Cameleers will meet all participants. Timely attendance is crucial for a seamless experience. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
• This Camel Ride is suitable for ages 4 and above, with a weight limit of max. 100 kg per person or double saddle per camel. 
• This guided ride and tour come with live commentary in English. Be prepared to stroll through the restricted area of the farm. 
  
• Note: Two passengers ride each camel in double saddles, with a maximum of 15 riders per booking time and a cap of 8 adults. No refunds for late arrivals, and our cancellation policy requires a 24-hour notice. If you cancel within 24 hours of the confirmed camel riding time, no refund will be provided.
